| ok so I haven't updated this thing in months, but this episode was so amazing and wonderful that I had to write about it.
Rory & Logan - the party was SO hot!! I can't get over how pretty the apartment is. The final Rory / Logan scene made me cry...and I NEVER EVER cry. I wish Rory had said something, like don't go, or I have to go with you (that's what I thought the previews meant--I have to go with you to London, not the fucking airport...gahhhh) but then again, it might have been Mitchum's argument in the elevator that made her stop. But Logan kept dropping hints, like if you come to the airport, I won't be able to get on the plane, or just tell me not to go. Omg was Logan not delicious in his leather jacket? Ahhh I love when he wears it! And Rory was so cute in her little British outfit, although her graduation blue dress was the ugliest thing I've ever seen. And that coat! omg. Fashion police, pleeease. The two of them were so perfect together at the party. And I loved the final scene because Alexis Bledel had some [almost] decent acting there. It was very heartwrenching and I wish she would have DONE SOMETHING!!!! But it really showed how much they loved each other since usually they're very like, cold and unfeeling (Logan coming back from drinks, anyone? and heading for the bar AGAIN????) but Logan's "I love you Ace" was just BEAUTIFUL. Logan's cane was kinda weird...he didn't limp all the time...I guess they needed it to show that his healing wasn't automatic, since you know, when you break an ankle and collapse a lung and break some ribs...but still. Rory's picture taking was cute...but Logan's naked butt? Totally didn't know they were into that type of thing.
Mitchum Huntzberger has reminded me of my old dentist from day one and still does. They have the same exact voice!! They even look similar!
Colin & Finn - I love them! They're such great characters and need more air time. As does Miss Patty. Poor, traumatized Paul Anka.
I loved Gigi's last line - "I don't like to sleep in my nightgown when i'm sick either!" Aww cute girl.
Lorelai & Luke- good for Lorelai to stop this bullshit right there, although a stronger statement would have been giving back the ring and saying, "I'll wear it when you get your shit together." Luke honestly doesn't get it and his cluelessness always bothered me. I know he's trying to hide beneath a gruff exterior, but his insensitivity needs to end. He's keeping Lorelai from April for such selfish reasons--I couldn't believe it when he had the nerve to voice his true reasons last week. Asshole. BTW, Lorelai's dress was gorgeous.
Emily wore that pink jacket when Logan came to dinner in season 5. Either that or it was the dinner when Lorelai had to go pick Rory up from jail. She had such great lines too...Chris & Lynnie are a shampoo ad! (absolute fave) And Greta, did I fire you yet? And Johnny Carson's wives must have just laughed all the time!
The Gilmores [elder] have a really nice bathroom. Very nice colors and pretty mirror. Speaking of nice homes, Chris had a gorgeous apartment. Very manly with all that wood, but very nice all the same. If I could have seen more of it, I might even venture to say that it's better than Logan's apartment (its main perk being a DOOR to the BEDROOM!!!!!!)
The troubadour thing was the most annoying thing I've ever had to watch. It took away precious Lorelai / Luke time or RORY AND LOGAN.
Amy Sherman-Palladino (And Dan!) we'll miss you.
Life totally needs to forward to next September already so Season 7 can freaking begin!!!
| The Apprentice - Task 2
I knew from the beginning the guys were going to win. Hours of editing obviously includes subtle foreshadowing, and "we're going to win, yay yay yay!" - could it be more obvious? Plus, with their cocky chauvinist attitude towards women and believing that the women knew nothing about cars just made me mad. They deserved to lose just on the basis of that.
I wasn't that impressed with the women's either--like somebody said, it tried to incorporate too much at once and I was a bit overwhelmed.
The men's--I actually agreed that Italian should have been italian. Not because of a lack of respect, as Trump insinuated, but simply because they were right, the I would have been overpowering. But surely there could have been some other way to "respect" Italians and use proper grammar as well? Smaller font? Different font entirely? We're living in the computer age, surely they know the power of a different font.
Marcus is annoying. He's the Danny of season 3. And what is up with those highlights?
I knew Chris would get fired the moment he chose Marcus only to go back to the boardroom. Hello, stupid?!? Has he not learned anything from previous seasons? And didn't he learn probability in like, second grade? Bringing in more people lowers your chances of getting fired.
Kristi reminds me of Reese Witherspoon. She's got the hair, accent, and innocence down. Though she does get rather annoying after a while.
I'm not quite sure I understand the point of the new "twist" this season. (Might I add that they become more stupid as the seasons progress?) If someone is the project manager and they lead the team to victory, they deserve the exemption. Hands-down. I, personally, would never vote for anyone to be exempt. Why take the risk of making yourself more vulnerable to be fired when somebody else could be fired in your place?
I wasn't able to catch the last episode (Damn the non-working VCR. We need Tivo.) so I don't really know the candidates yet. But soon, I should hope!
| Gilmore Girls 6.03 - Tonight- Dunno episode name
LUKE WITH A TATTOO!!!! Who ever knew?
Paul Anka's whole concept is hilarious.
Rory's hair looked gorgeous throughout this episode except at the DAR induction where it was like pasted to her forehead.
Logan is gorgeous.
Why has she taken charge in community service?
I love Paris.
Too thirsty to think more later.
| Gilmore Girls 6.02 Fight Face (September 20th)
Dear Alexis Bledel, You were a model. Please learn to stand up straight.
Dear costume designer, Rory's clothes are gorgeous. I'm not sure I like Lorelai's trying-to-be-boho-but-not, but it's cute all the same.
Dear Luke, BUY A RAZOR.
Dear D.A.R., How sad is is that you ladies sit around discussing which of the founding fathers was the sexiest? Please. Get a job. And use your new income to by a new outfit.
Dear Lorelai, Stop being such an asshole.
Dear Amy Sherman-Palladino, T.J. is annoying. Not endearing, funny, annoying, but just plain annoying. Please kick him off the show.

| Gilmore Girls 6.01 The New and Improved Lorelai (September 13th)
Yay, season premiere! Although I must say it was a bit of a waste of my life especially when I had hours of homework ahead of me. I think it was mostly because this episode was very Lorelai-Luke-centric, and I'm definitely not an LL 'shipper.
So it picked up right at the proposal, and Luke said yes! Actually, I was kind of expecting him not to, to give a nice little depressing twist to the plotline.
Kirk is getting old. Not in age, but his humor (or meant-to-be humor). The ring thing was just overdone, I thought, and I'm sick of him. We need a new person. Miss Patty, however, never gets old. I love her! I hope to be like her when I'm older, minus the cigarettes and the big butt.
I didn't understand the judge at all. In real life, that never could have happened. Her job is to give an impartial ruling and / or punishment. All of a sudden, she came out with, "You're rich and privileged! I hate rich bitches like you! 300 hours!" That's completely wrong.
Rory's outfit at the felon party was hot sex. Where is that jacket from? Her hair looked gorgeous too. Did you know her hair is naturally wavy? I don't know why she's been straightening it all these years; it makes her look too young. The soft curls enhanced her face beautifully and she looks so sophisticated now. Logan's style is very interesting too. He loves his blazers, and I thought his t-shirt was hot sex as well. You'd think a guy with money like his would be a total Fabio, down to the Gucci loafers (which he is at times), but I like his style.
Who didn't drool when they saw the breakfast Emily, or rather, the maid, set out for Rory? That was the vision of perfection.
I was surprised how Paris took Rory's leaving Yale. Especially when she revealed that all she really wanted was a person to talk to, and took Lorelai as her confidante instead, and that was done with. I certainly hope that's not the end of it. We know Paris is rather self-centered but I hope she can focus on Rory. It definitely was OOC.
Logan is not in the next episode! Tear.
